Flex Programme
FlexProgrammeTM is flexible hours of learning, creatively scheduled to accommodate.

What is our Flex Programme?
At Above & Beyond, the FlexProgramme™ offers customized, flexible hours of learning designed to accommodate students’ unique educational and personal needs. Whether a student is enrolled in another program, transitioning from traditional school, working part-time, or aiming to earn a single credit, the FlexProgramme™ adapts to their schedule and pace.
With a focus on personalized learning, small-group support, and a nurturing environment, each stream within the FlexProgramme™ empowers students to succeed academically and personally—with minimal resistance and maximum encouragement.
Flex Programme Types
Flex Junior
The Flex Junior Programme operates either as a partnership solution for students grades 1 to 3 or full time for students grades 4-8. We partner with the elementary schools to build students’ skills while simultaneously learning grade level material. We design each unit to accommodate the student’s pace of learning. The goal is to bring them up to grade level in a quiet, non-threatening environment. Students with special needs are able to achieve success here, with our small group and one-on-one nurturing.
Flex Secondary
For those students who have left school or are struggling with the conventional educational system, we recognize that the routine of daily attendance for 6-8 hours might be too intense or intimidating. With this in mind, we have the Flex Programme, where we combine multiple resources to provide a stimulating and exciting learning environment. The program runs Monday to Friday in pre-arranged 4-hour blocks per day.
Flex Part-Time
The Flex Part Time Programme is an alternative based education delivery either as a partnership solution with the local secondary schools or as part time attendance while employed. We coach and mentor the students to build their skills while simultaneously learning OSSD credits with us. As with the other programmes, we design each unit to accommodate the student’s pace of learning. The goal is to bring them up to grade level in a quiet, non-threatening environment.
Flex One Credit
We offer the ability to earn single credits; missing prerequisites for post secondary admittance, or for subjects students wish to take outside the conventional time schedule, including the summer! The student picks the subject, start date, and attendance times.
All of our programs will be tailored to each youth individually to provide the greatest learning opportunity with the least resistance. The environment will be bright, supportive, warm and friendly in a relaxed atmosphere with the comforts of a home environment.
Our statistics prove our model works – we have a 95% success rate in helping kids graduate Grade 12 compared to Ontario’s 24% dropout rate.
Preparing Your Child for Success
If your child is struggling with being mainstreamed in the public school system or can’t find the guidance and leadership they need to keep them on the track towards a secondary school diploma then call us – we can offer you a solution that will ensure they’re prepared to meet the world head on.
